Kate A. Willmore graduated summa cum laude from the University of California and graduated from the University Of San Diego School Of Law in 1991.
She brings eighteen years of legal experience to every client's legal matter.
As a former a Judge Pro Temp from Los Angeles County, Kate views every client’s legal problem from an attorney's perspective and from a judge's perspective.
Kate is an assertive proactive litigator and doesn't shy away from competitiveness in the courtroom, but she is good-natured enough to have an easy going style in communicating with clients.
As an experienced negotiator, Kate recognizes that creativity in problem solving can often lead to settlements even in the most complex and contentious legal cases. Clients appreciate her common sense approach to the costs and to the benefits of a legal dispute. She works closely with individuals to keep them apprised of the expenses involved and the possible alternatives to litigation.
Kate is a member of the Minnesota State Bar, the California State Bar, and the Stearns County Bar Association and Family Law Sections. She is licensed to practice law in Minnesota and in California.
Kate volunteers in annual field studies for the Minnesota Department of Natural Resources in area lake loon counts-- a pastime that fits nicely with her passion for canoeing and fishing.
